Longevity means to live longer and above all to live healthy and fit longer. This requires above all a healthy lifestyle, i.e. good and sufficient sleep, sufficient exercise, little stress, a balanced diet, little alcohol and no smoking.

However, since this cannot always be achieved for a variety of reasons, and of course genetic and other factors also play an important role, longevity research offers numerous possibilities for living a longer life without disease.

In this context we have identified and are focusing at the moment on the following main topics.

  • Monitoring and tracking of health and environment
  • Early detection of physical complaints and diseases
  • Development of new active substances for prophylaxis

Monitoring and tracking of health and environment

The monitoring and tracking of health and important environmental parameters is important to prevent any damage for the individual health.

One important aspect is the determination of the biological age and comparison with the actual age to efficiently monitor measures for a longer life. In addition, it is an important factor for motivation to consistently strive for improvement.

Important is also to monitor environmental parameters like air quality as it is increasingly deteriorating in metropolitan areas. Particulate matter in particular is responsible for a large number of serious diseases. Monitoring and improving air quality is therefore an important issue.

Another topic is the improvement of Sleep Quality: Sleep is essential for a healthy and long life. In addition to the well-known sleeping pills with their sometimes serious side effects, we are looking for further options to enable healthy and restful sleep.

Early detection of physical complaints and diseases

Numerous analytical methods for the early detection of physical complaints and diseases are already established. But there is no holistic approach to detect health problems long before there is damage for the individual health.

In this area, we are looking for modern approaches for a holistic early detection of complaints and diseases.

Development of active substances for prophylaxis

Numerous substances can improve brain performance and, in particular, counteract age-related degeneration. The development of corresponding products based on scientific principles is of great importance.

One example are anti-aging compounds. There are still many new active ingredient molecules that can be used especially for anti-aging cosmetics. Other new active ingredients can improve energy level and brain power.

Furthermore, the demands on performance are constantly increasing. If regeneration phases are missing, the energy level drops and the consequences are a drop in performance and, in the worst case, burnout.
